Summertime Candle Launch!

Ahhhhh! Sweet Summertime!

The smell of sweet coconut, warm sun kissed boardwalks, and fresh squeezed lime.  This year our family set sail along the coast of Florida and had the adventure of a lifetime!  We kicked off the trip with a short stay in Key West where we cracked coconuts, ate mile high key lime pie, explored the mangroves and chased the sunsets.

 The warm sun, crowing roosters and long meandering roads through the conch republic furnished inspiration for my wildly creative mind.  My sketchbook was already brimming with memories as I quickly sketched more in my book trying to capture every moment, color and flash but time moved much quicker than these old hands could draw.  I couldn't wait to get home and get my hands in clay again.  Somehow I wanted to capture the color, the sea life and the scents that shrouded us with every step. 

Introducing my summer candle collection! Each candle design is imprinted in a wax resist around each vessel in varying monstera leaves, starfish, waves or sand dollars.  Each candle is poured with a toxin-free coconut-soy wax blend and fitted with an all natural wood wick.  The scents are clean scents and vary for each candle lending a coconut, pineapple and lime scent or a warm spa like scent that leans a little more to the earthy driftwood aroma.  Each candle affords 50+ hours of burn time and can be reused as a wine cup or catch-all for your beach combed treasures.

I am so happy that summer is finally here, next to Christmas its my favorite time of year!
